It was so funny to hear what some would use a way to meet a member of the opposite sex.  I don't think that any of those lines were intended to actually work, but they were funny nonetheless.

Next, comes the message entitled Sweaty Palms.  This message will be discussing "How Far is TOO FAR?"

This year the series title is SEX: An Uncensored Discussion of Sex and Intimacy.  P. Shaun takes a lot of time and effort to be tactful when dealing with this topic, but what is said has to be said b/c we try so hard not to talk about the subject that questions are never answered and the Bible is very clear on this topic.  If you have any questions before the series next week, please do not hesitate to call or e-mail and ask.

 We will also be opening the registration for Camp Destin, in two weeks on February 10th!  The cost for regular registration is going to be $300.00 with a late registration cost of $325.00.  A deposit of $100.00/per student is due to guarantee a spot.  We will have a payment schedule coming out with all the information next week.  If you know anyone who had been to Camp Destin, they will tell you that it is the greatest trip!  I know it sounds like a lot of money, but it is 18 weeks away.  Which means with as little is $17.00/a week you can go to Destin!  I don't want to hear anymore about the cost, with all the upfront notice you have.

We will be offering some different fundraisers for the trip as well.  If you have ideas for fundraisers, please feel free to tell me about them.

2009 has been a wonderful year in Fusion.  2010 will be no different.  We have so much in store and we are so excited about many opportunities in the future.  Tomorrow night is the final Fusion of 2009.  P. Shaun is going to be showing a clip from the movie 4 Christmases and talking about how we have made Christmas all about Jesus with the programs and productions, but have missed what we are actually missing Jesus! 

Beginning after the first of the year, we are going to take some time to read "The Story" in line with the entire church body.  So, this will be the series for the beginning of the New Year.

DON'T FORGET that tomorrow is the last week to register for Winter Retreat January 22-24th at Harvey Cedars  Conference Center in NJ.  The registration cost is $160.00.  The deposit is $50.00 to guarantee your spot.  Also, we have Fine Arts coming faster than we can imagine.  The writing categories are due on January 18th and the registration for all other categories is February 1st.  If you are interested in participating in any area, please see Mrs. Angela for all the details.

If you are interested in participating in Fine Arts this year or if you would like more information about what Fine Arts is, you can see Mrs. Angela, Katie or Shannon and get an informational packet with rule book for the competition this year.  Fine Arts is a good avenue to show your creative and artistic talents while using them to honor God.  

Sectional Fine Arts is February 20th at Glad Tidings A/G in Reading.  We will be taking transportation from MSF that morning.  

We are going to Harvey Cedars Conference Center in New Jersey.  If you want to check the retreat center out, the website is www.stepsoffaith.org.

Make sure you don't wait until the last minute to register!  There is going to be 5 teaching sessions with plenty of connection and game time.
